Register now until the 31. May and gain a spot as a delegate through the attached form (or see Link in Instagrambio)!
This event is the perfect chance to practice your problem solving and teamwork skills, while boosting your resume and still having fun in the process.
The currently ongoing lecture series (besides Christopher Brucker there will be another lecture by Ina Siemer in two weeks, infos to be published soon!) serves as an introduction to the simulation topic. While the lectures are not obligatory for simulation participants, we highly recommend that you utilize this resource! If this is your first MUN, we ask you to participate in the lectures and contact us so that we can help you prepare for the simulation (position papers etc.).
You will be informed about the schedule and the social events accompanying the MUN after registration. As for any MUN, position papers (length: 200-500 words) will be required from each participant / each delegation. You will be informed by the 1. of June which country you have been allocated, after which you will have plenty of time to write your position paper for said country before the simulation begins.
At the end, Participants will receive certificates of participation and if you are particularly dedicated & skilled you may be presented with one of four awards.
Please note that due to limited capacity, application is only possible for a) students currently studying in Jena or b) BSH members.
If you have any questions, dont hesitate to contact us via Mail (jena@sicherheitspolitik.de) or Direct Message on Instagram.
We look forward to seeing you in our upcoming events!
